How did you find about the Philippines?
I traveled quite extensively in Asia. Of course I also visited the Philippines. It was love at first sight. The Philippines is now my permanent home.
What Philippine locations have you visited?
Negros, Cebu, Bohol, Siquijor, Masbate, Marinduque, Panay, Samar and most parts of Luzon.
What are your opinions on the following things about the Philippines?
Places
Superb beaches, quiet little villages and a beautiful nature.
Food
I love to discover the (regional) delicacies of the Philippines. Bicol Express, chicken inasal, Vigan empanadas, lechon kawali, pancit, kare-kare, sinigang, etc.
Culture
A lot of interesting fiestas and (religious) traditions.
People
Friendly, hospitable and always smiling.
What do you dislike about the Philippines?
Rich-poor divide, corruption, politics.

People, food, nature, fiestas.
