How did you find about the Philippines?

I was born here. I didn’t need to find it. 😀

What Philippine locations have you visited?

Eastern Samar (ganda! Virgin forests pa), Zambales, Pangasinan, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Oriental Mindoro, Ilocandia region, Corregidor, Places na nadadaanan papuntang Samar.

Eastern Samar (pretty! and they’re Virgin forests too), Zambales, Pangasinan, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Oriental Mindoro, Ilocandia region, Corregidor, places that you pass by on the way to Samar.

What are your opinions on the following things about the Philippines?

     Places

Walang tatalo sa own birthplace.

Nothing beats one’s own birthplace.

     Food

Healthiest ang Ilokano food, napakasimple, puro gulay, pero siempre masarap Kapampangan at Bikolano food.

Ilocano food is healthiest, it’s very simple, all vegetables, but of course Kapampangan and Bicolano foods are delicious.

     Culture

Makulay mga dances. Sa popular culture, such as music, magaling tayo. Konti lang buildings natin na unique. Other Asian countries such as Thailand, Japan and Cambodia have buildings that you can’t see in other countries.

The dances are colorful. In popular culture, such as music, we are good. We have few buildings that are unique. Other Asian countries such as Thailand, Japan and Cambodia have buildings that you can’t see in other countries.

     People

Tama nga mga foreigners, palangiti tayo, at palatawa tayo kahit gutom.

Foreigners are correct, we love to smile, and we love to laugh even if we’re hungry.

What do you dislike about the Philippines?

Marumi raw, sabi ng mga pumupunta dito, and they’re right. Maraming nagtatapon ng basura kahit saan. Mabaho pa nga, lalo na if you pass by Bayani’s pink cubicles. My eight-year-old Canadian-born nephew who visited the Phil last January was always complaining about things being dirty (streets, public facilities, etc.).

It’s dirty, visitors to this place say, and they’re right. There are many people throwing trash everywhere. It’s even smelly, especially if you pass by Bayani’s pink cubicles. My eight-year-old Canadian-born nephew who visited the Phil last January was always complaining about things being dirty (streets, public facilities, etc.)

What do you like about the Philippines?

Everything (I live here, I must learn to love what’s here in the Phil.; if not, miserable buhay ko), except corrupt government officials, greedy businesspeople and persons that cause so much pain in other people.
