Occupation/Location: Graphic and Web Designer in Manila Philippines
How did you find about the Philippines?
I was born and raised here.
What Philippine locations have you visited?
To generalize on the areas: Batanes, Ilocos Norte and Sur, Pangasinan, Pampanga, Tarlac, Baguio, Mountain Province, Cordilleras, Batangas, Bicol, Marinduque, Occidental and Oriental Mindoro, Panay Island, Ormoc, Iloilo, Guimaras, Bohol, Zamboanga City, Basilan, General Santos, South Cotabato, Dumaguete, Siquijor.
What are your opinions on the following things about the Philippines?
We have the most diverse attractions in our country. The Philippines have the largest coastline in Asia thatís why we still have the best beaches here. Our natural attractions have more number of fauna than even Galapagos Island. Iíll never get bored hopping from one island to the next here.
Thereís a rich variety of food here in every region. Even if thereís a particular known dish, each region has a distinct way of cooking it.
Each region is also diverse. From the Ifugaos of the north to the Tboliís in the south, they exhibit rich cultures that some still practice until now.
I still think Filipinos are still generally hospitable and smiles a lot what ever comes its way, we can always smile. That may be the biggest charm of being a Filipino.
What do you dislike about the Philippines?
What do you like about the Philippines?
I have been around some countries in Asia and itís funny that some things remind me of things here back home. In my opinion, we still have the best beaches and ocean here. The Filipinos are lucky to speak English very well, so Caucasians would find it easy to backpack in our country. We really have diverse attractions here, I guess itís just managing them that should be worked on.
Your favorite place/s in the Philippines.
L-R: 1) Nakanmuan, Batanes, 2) Kayangan Lake, Coron, 3) Lake Sebu, 4) Sagada, 5) Coco Grove, Siquijor
